Download Dicebound Chronicles for Windows and begin The Bell Beneath locally, or sign in with your Dicebound account to create a private online campaign and hero, submit actions through the in-game text box, and continue the same Chronicle later. Discord is optional for solo play and becomes the multiplayer connection when friends join.
Closed testers need the tester key to download or add the Discord bot. The game checks the official release feed when its main menu opens; Download Update opens your browser and asks for the tester key if needed. No game files install automatically. Its published SHA-256 fingerprint lets you verify the package. A one-file installer will replace the ZIP after its Windows publisher signature is issued and passes a clean-machine test.

The complete table, carried with you
Dicebound Chronicles brings the storyteller, world simulator, combat director, campaign memory, and player tools together in one persistent experience for solo heroes and full parties.
The full adventure works in Discord text on phone or computer. Voice adds spoken narration and conversation without withholding maps, art, character tools, or story features from text players.
Campaign time, weather, quests, factions, villains, NPC relationships, reputation, discoveries, and unresolved consequences persist from one session to the next.
Play alone with autonomous NPC companions or invite a group. The Dungeon Master tracks the active character attached to each Discord player and gives every adventurer opportunities to contribute.
A step-by-step wizard handles concepts, ancestry, class, ability scores, appearance, personality, backstory, equipment, voice preferences, portrait metadata, and final review.
Initiative, actions, reactions, saving throws, conditions, terrain, hazards, travel, rest, weather, dungeons, encounters, puzzles, mysteries, and boss phases remain connected to the story.
Open character, inventory, combat, quests, maps, NPCs, crafting, journal, party, economy, society, dice, and allowance views through a secure personal link.

Your table, your rules
Dicebound Chronicles supports familiar fantasy d20 play without locking your group into one world or one way to play. Create a campaign in Discord, choose a rules profile, and let the Game Panel carry characters, combat, quests, inventory, maps, and campaign memory.
Run classic or revised fifth-edition-compatible fantasy campaigns with ability checks, saving throws, initiative, tactical combat, rests, equipment, spells, and character progression.
Use the familiar roll-plus-modifier foundation, then customize ancestry, classes, backgrounds, rules, tone, economy, equipment, and campaign boundaries.
Choose the original living-world ruleset for dynamic economies, professions, crafting, fishing, factions, collectible cosmetic dice, persistent NPCs, and MMORPG-inspired progression.
Independent and expandable
Dicebound provides campaign tools and an original fantasy universe. It does not include proprietary settings, adventures, artwork, or rules text from other publishers. Groups may configure custom campaigns using books and materials they lawfully own.
Dicebound Universe and Dicebound Chronicles are independent products and are not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by third-party tabletop publishers. “5E compatible” describes rules compatibility and does not indicate official status.

The Universe Bible
This is the shared canon beneath every Dicebound story: ancient enough to feel discovered, open enough to hold worlds and games we have not imagined yet.
Before kingdoms, before names, the universe was possibility without form. The old stories say the First Die was cast into that endless dark. Where it struck, stars gathered. Where it rolled, oceans and roads followed. Where it finally rested, memory began.
The First Die did not command fate. It gave fate a shape people could challenge. Mortals gained the freedom to choose, fail, try again, and leave marks that the world could remember.
“Chance opens the door. Choice decides who crosses.”— The Chronicle of First Light
The first empires tried to own the power of possibility. Their artificers split the First Die, believing each face could crown a different ruler. The strike cracked more than relic-stone: coastlines moved, magic changed color, and six great regions drifted into their present forms.
Fragments became the earliest Bound Dice. Some absorbed forests and fire; others dragon vows, celestial light, royal ambition, or the silence between stars. None can change the fairness of a roll. Their power is remembrance—the proof of journeys survived and promises kept.
Neutral keepers of roads, contracts, and the stories adventurers leave behind.
Merchant houses and inventors who believe prosperity can tame a dangerous world.
Explorers who map what exists—and quietly erase what should remain undiscovered.
Heirs to the eastern fire kingdoms, divided between restoration and conquest.
Scholars guarding celestial ruins and watching for changes beyond the night sky.
The Bible protects continuity without closing the horizon. The origin of the First Die, the six regions, the nature of Bound Dice, and the major historical ages are shared foundations. Individual campaigns add local heroes, towns, wars, discoveries, and legends without rewriting those foundations.
Beyond the mapped sea lie deliberately unnamed continents. Beneath known cities are unopened layers of history. New games may reveal another culture, age, or realm while still belonging unmistakably to Dicebound Universe.
The known realms do not share a single answer about the First Die. Six enduring traditions interpret creation, fortune, memory, death, fire, and the stars without closing the door on faiths waiting beyond the mapped world.
Creation, truth, and hope. Every honest choice adds a face to an unfinished world.
Fortune, change, and journeys. Courage is answering what the roll reveals.
Forge, sacrifice, and renewal. What survives the flame must shelter what cannot.
Nature, memory, and seasons. Ancestors, soil, weather, and descendants share one promise.
Sea, death, and safe return. The sea keeps every name, yet may return the living.
Stars, knowledge, and omens. The heavens record patterns that mortals may choose to break.
Each tradition has recorded symbols, rites, holy sites, relationships, and expansion hooks in the game Bible. Local sects may grow during play, but established doctrine remains persistent campaign knowledge.
Atlas of the Known Realms
Select a region to open its field notes. The atlas will grow as future expansions reveal what lies beyond the known sea.
Seven roads into the realm
Every premade adventure seeds its locations, objectives, signature die, professions, map route, and opening scene. Your choices still decide how it ends.
Unmask a plot stretching from the capital to Blackstone Bridge. Earn the Ironbound Die through investigation, exploration, and consequential choices.
Follow changing paths through Whispergrove and Moonwell Glade to discover what has awakened beneath the ancient forest.
Cross Shadow Swamp, master rare materials, and face the Mire Leviathan where a drowned temple rises from black water.
Climb through Frostpeak and Embervein Hold as volcanic fire and an ancient power threaten every settlement below.
Command a vessel, chart the Shattered Coast, fish legendary waters, and challenge the Drowned King's returning fleet.
Carry a blank die across the known realm and awaken its six faces: Courage, Discovery, Craft, Wisdom, Fellowship, and Fortune.
Practice professions, help festival neighbors, and solve a warm-hearted mystery when the champion crop starts knocking back.
Choose Custom in the campaign wizard. When the table uses /ready, tell the Dungeon Master what kind of adventure you want to begin.
Relics of the First Casting
Bound Dice are cosmetic echoes of discovery. They never improve the odds. Their value is the story attached to them.
CommonCarved from road-oak and worn smooth by honest journeys.
UncommonClear faces catch colors no nearby light can explain.
RareEmbers move beneath blackened faces, but never burn the hand.
RareFine runes orbit each result before quietly fading.
Very rareAncient ivory etched with vows in a language dragons remember.
Very rareStarlight gathers at their edges as though night recognizes them.
LegendaryFaces cut from the silence between stars. Almost no map marks them.
LegendaryA record of service, sovereignty, and legends acknowledged by a realm.
UncommonForged where thunder meets iron, their blue seams flash before every cast.
UncommonLiving moss and golden vines preserve the memory of the oldest forests.
Very rareCrimson glass awakens only when the moon turns red above a forgotten shrine.
LegendaryEach face holds an hourglass whose final grain never seems to fall.
Fair randomness, meaningful rewards
The game does not pull rewards from one giant random list. It first decides what is fair for the party and the moment, then rolls inside those boundaries.
Party level, party size, and whether the reward is minor, standard, major, or a boss reward determine its total value.
The source matters. A dragon hoard, forest cache, black market, fishing spot, and royal reward offer different discoveries.
Minimum levels, a magic-item chance, and a hard rarity cap prevent a low-level party from receiving rewards that break the campaign.
Common items appear more often, while rare finds remain possible. Items that exceed the remaining value are rejected and redrawn.
Selected items are added to the reward and unused value becomes currency, so a quiet roll never turns into an empty victory.
Dice themes are collectible cosmetics. They change the look and story of a roll, not the number produced. When an eligible discovery source is checked, the current cosmetic discovery chances are Common 100%, Uncommon 35%, Rare 15%, Very Rare 6%, and Legendary 2%.

One identity across every chronicle
Sign in on the website, then approve the short code shown by Dicebound Chronicles for Windows. Discord remains optional for solo play and can be linked when you want multiplayer adventures.
Enter your email and we will send a private, one-time sign-in link. You will never type a Dicebound password into the game.
Checking secure sign-in availability...
Open Dicebound Chronicles, choose Online Solo, then select Sign In with Your Dicebound Account and enter the short code it gives you below. The code expires quickly and can be used only once.

Your offline campaign and local saves remain available without Discord. A Dicebound account will add secure continuity without turning solo play into a server setup process.
Discord is the multiplayer table and voice option. Linking it will connect that identity to your Dicebound account without replacing your website or Windows sign-in.
The website stores the secure browser session in an HTTP-only cookie. Windows receives its own revocable token after you approve the displayed code.
Dicebound Chronicles · Kickstarter coming soon
Create your hero, roll visible dice, and shape an adventure remembered in your personal digital Chronicle. Our upcoming Kickstarter will help us finish The Bell Beneath and develop the player-ready Chronicle.
The Kickstarter is not live yet. We’ll add its official follow link here once the pre-launch page is approved.
The world remembers
Explore a fantasy world alone in the Windows game, with multiplayer options through Discord. Choices, encounters, and discoveries become part of your story.
The hardcover Chronicle shown in promotional concept art is planned, not a finished product. Final design and availability depend on print proofs and fulfillment testing.

Development Chronicle
From a character wizard to a living-world platform, this is the complete public journey of Dicebound Chronicles.
Choose your chronicle
Every plan includes the complete text game, private Game Panel, character tools, maps, artwork, combat, quests, campaign memory, and the living world. Plans differ by voice and group capacity, not by the quality of the adventure.
Secure server billing
Dicebound only shows servers where you are the owner or have Manage Server permission. Your payment activates the selected server for everyone in that campaign.

Keep the chronicle moving
Add more story, voice-listening, and spoken-narration allowance to one active server without changing its plan. The pack is never a countdown timer, and the fair limit of 10 newly generated images per month stays the same.

Your server stays your table
The subscriber installs the centrally hosted Dicebound Chronicles bot in a server they manage. Campaigns created there are stored with that server's Discord ID. Characters are stored inside that campaign and attached to each player's Discord ID.
That means another server cannot load your campaign, claim your characters, or open your private Game Panel. You do not receive or manage a bot token, and your OpenAI credentials are never shared with players.
Fair, understandable usage
Play when your group can. Each plan measures story generation, artwork, voice listening, and spoken narration separately. The private Allowance tab shows what the server has used. Stripe securely handles payment details; Dicebound never stores card numbers.
From Discord server to first roll
The server owner handles the first three steps once. After that, every player can build a hero and play from Discord on a phone, tablet, or computer.
Press the button below, choose a server where you have Manage Server permission, and approve the requested messaging, file, command, and voice permissions.
Add Dicebound to DiscordIn your Discord server, run /setup_check. Dicebound will show whether the database, AI access, Game Panel, voice connection, and active campaign are ready.
During the closed Alpha, enter the invitation supplied by Dicebound with /alpha redeem. Commercial subscriptions will activate the same Discord server automatically after checkout.
Run /campaign_create. Choose one of seven premade chronicles or Custom Adventure, then adjust rules, length, tone, economy, safety options, campaign name, and whether players use physical dice or computer rolls.
Run /create_character. The wizard walks through concept, identity, ability scores, starter spells and abilities, appearance, personality, backstory, equipment, voice, portrait, and review.
Run /game_panel and choose the browser panel, or launch the Discord Activity. Dicebound uses your server, campaign, Discord account, and active character automatically.
Run /ready. A premade chronicle begins when the table is ready. A custom campaign asks what kind of adventure the group wants before the first scene.
Use /gm_action to describe what your character attempts. The Dungeon Master narrates, calls for visible rolls, starts combat when the fiction demands it, and keeps the story moving.
Join a voice channel, run /join, then /live_start. Say "Hey DM" and the action together, or say only "Hey DM," pause, and give the action within ten seconds. "Hey, DM," "Dungeon Master," "GM," and "Game Master" also work.
Maps that begin with you
Every new campaign now begins at a discovered starting location marked by a bright party dot. Unknown places remain behind fog of war. As the party travels, the marker moves and connected locations appear.
The same private map appears in the browser Game Panel and the Discord Game Panel. The public World Atlas shows shared universe lore, never a subscriber's private location.
Run /help in Discord for the same quick-start guidance, character help, voice controls, shopping instructions, and administrator tools.
Paper, pencil, and possibility
Open this page from /character_sheet to securely load your hosted hero and save personal notes. Print the complete five-page record, choose a ruleset layout, switch to low-ink mode, or download a blank PDF.
